Spoon Carving: October 24 and 25

Learn the exciting art of sloyd (Traditional Swedish wood carving)In this two day course, students will learn to carve a spoon from raw wood using traditional tools and techniques. We will split a log with a froe, rough out our spoon blanks with an axe, and finish our utensils with sloyd and hook knife.
