In this class, students will learn how to sculpt their own platters of miniature food! One will be a charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, and more. The other will be a Holliday Cookie Platter!! Students will learn how to make each individual food item and then will be able to organize their goodies to their liking on a wood board. These 1:12 scale miniatures can be used in a dollhouse, trinket shelf, as a meal for little critters, or can be turned into magnets or pins later on!
Students will learn polymer clay skills such as: How to make frosting How to form a clay cane How to create porous bread How to mix colors and form strong shapes from a pliable material.
