In this 3 week class, students will be shown an introduction to all things relief. How to carve, how to prepare and apply ink, how to set the press and use the press.
Students print pre-drawn designs as well as compose their own designs. They will prepare and carve their blocks, and together we will print a small edition each. Students will be taught about editioning prints and will each do so with their own. We will also create some fun wearable prints for shirts.

Students will leave with at least two finished prints. One tutorial print and one of their own design.
This class is beginner friendly, no experience necessary.
