Joomchi is a Korean technique for wet felting multiple layers of mulberry paper. This process turns paper into a fabric like material that has endless possibilities. From clothing, bags, sculpture, collage, lanterns and so much more it is very versatile. In this two hour class you will learn about the history, techniques and applications of Joomchi. Students will create a piece of original and unique material. Class includes all materials.
